Has my order been shipped?
- All orders are recorded and tracked online. Please email support directly with specific questions.

Can I stop a package that has been shipped?
- If your order was shipped through USPS Post Office then unfortunately NO.
- If It was shipped UPS we can try but it is not always successful and the fee is $10.00. New UPS Returns Service Rates are now in effect.

I ordered the wrong item and want to exchange it. What should I do?

For a more prompt exchange/refund, please keep your invoice and call to obtain a return authorization number.

If it is necesary to return merchandise for an exchange/refund, all merchandise MUST meet the following conditions:
- Return in Original packaging
- Must be returned to BoardChessSet.com within (25) days
- Copy of invoice must be enclosed with merchandise
- Enclose a brief letter of explanation
- Merchandise returned for exchange - refund will be given minus a $15.00 exchange fee. Please reorder.
- All returns must be prepaid

I would like to return an unwanted item. What should I do?

I placed an order, but was shipped the incorrect item. What do I do?
- We will need to get you a return authorization number. Please call or email to obtain this RA#.
- The freight credit will either be the exact amount on the original invoice or the actual cost of freight to BoardChessSet.com and will be done at our discretion.
- If your order was shipped ground but you decide to use overnight shipping to get the package back to s fsater it will be at your expense.
- Once your order is received back, BoardChessSet.com will ship out the correct item.
- If you wish to have the correct item shipped before we receice the incorrect item we can do so; however you will be responsible for the original item's purchase price should it not get returned.
- NO express freight methods will be used for items being shipped a second time regardless of how we have shipped the item originally.
- You will need to address the package to:

- Make sure to include the following information:
- A copy of the originial packing slip
- Note the Return Authorization number (RA#) on the outside of the packaging*
- Ship it via a traceable method (UPS, FedEx, USPS w/ package tracking)

My package was damaged in transit. What should I do?
- A claim must be filed for the damaged item. You should contact BoardChessSet.com and we will file this claim with the package carrier (UPS of USPS).
- These claims can take upwards of 30 days.
- IF you would like a second item shipped we will charge you for the replacement order and your account will be credited for the damaged order upon resolving the damaged package with the courier.

It apears my package was lost in transit. What do I do?
- We will need to file a claim for a lost package. You will need to contact BoardChessSet.com and we will file a claim with the package carrier (UPS or USPS). These claims can take upwards of 30 days.
- If you would like a second shipment you will be charged for the replacement order and your credit for the lost item will come upon resolution of the lost package.

My item is defective. What should I do?
- If the product is defective, then see the manufacturer warranty list for return instructions.
- If the merchandise is defective, call or email our customer service team for further instructions if needed.

I haven't received my order and I want to cancel the order. How do I do it?
- Orders that are NOT shipped or in the process of being shipped can be canceled.
- Contact us directly and we will check with our warehouse to see if this is a possibility. It is important to notify us immediately if you are wanting to cnacel because most of our orders are shipped same-day.
- If your order has already shipped thenn you will need to follow the 'normal returns process.' If the package is refused upon arrival then a return freight charde will be added.

Does BoardChessSet.com issue Call Tags?
- Absolutely under no circumstances will Call Tags be issued. We will credit the end user for freight IF the error is ours.
- In order to get reimbursed for return freight you must include a recepit for the return freight when they you ship the product back to us.

What is a return freight charge?
When a customer refuses a package or UPS returns the package, UPS is charging an Undeliverable Package Return Charge. This amount will be passed onto the customer. You will be responsible for this fee IF the item is determined undeliverable OR IF you choose to refuse the item thie amount will be charged before a refund will be issued.

What is an address correction and why am I being charged for it?
Occasionally we will be billed for an address correction. UPS charges $5.00 (or $10.00 for express packages) if the address given at checkout is not exactly correct. This amount will be billed to you as needed.

How do I handle backorders? How does BoardChessSet.com handle back orders?
- Approximately 75% of our backorders are due to manufacturer supply constraints. The other 25% are most likely our option and depends on what we have going on in our store.
- Our purchasing department is second to none in the industry. Our systems control back orders and keep them to a minimum for your conveniense. We will fulfill the order as we can when something is on back order. Customer satisfaction is the primary goal of BoardChessSet.com
- If you are fixed on a certain item and would like to place an order on an item that is on back order we will fulfill the order as soon as possible when back orders should happen to occur.
- If the order is partially back ordered we will make a judgment to determine if the order can be shipped in two segments. The initial shipping will be paid by the customer and the back ordered items will be covered by BoardChessSet.com.

Where do we ship? International?
- We only offer "FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER$100" to the lower 48 states, Alaska, and Hawaii .
WHY?
- Compliance to regulations has added countless hours to processing international orders. In an effort to keep our prices low we will not off the same shipping promos internationally at this time. If the time and effort it takes to ship packages internationally and stay in compliance then we will reconsider.

What is "New" condition?
All products must be in new, unopened condition if it s being returned to BoardChessSet.co
Examples of new, unopened products:
- Items requiring assembly must not have been previously assembled to qualify for a refund.
- Items must be returned with all original tags, stickers, etc.
Examples of products we will refuse
- Items without the shrink-wrap around the original box - if applicable.
- Any bubble-packed item that has been opened - if applicable.
Refused items will be shipped directly back to you and will not be credited. You will also be responsible for return freight costs if any occur. For this reason it is important to understand the conditions before requesting an RA# to return your item(s).
